AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH ROBERT HALF INC., FOR TEMPORARY IT STAFFING
SUPPORT
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Staff is requesting approval to amend its existing agreement with Robert Half Inc., to increase the contract authority from $75,000 to $150,000. This increase is necessary to continue temporary staffing support for two (2) IT Technicians assisting with critical citywide IT projects. This action will ensure continuity of operations, timely project completion and adequate technical support during ongoing system implementations, the City wide Camera Project, expansion of wireless services, upgrades to Microsoft platforms, phone upgrades and the Tyler Munis Finance, HR and Planning conversions etc.
DISCUSSION:
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this item will be supported through cost savings in the Fees and Services account resulting from recent changes in program management and project priorities. Adequate appropriations are available within the IT Fees and Services budget to cover the anticipated costs, and no additional appropriation is required at this time.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Staff recommends that the City Council authorizing the City Manager to amend the agreement with Robert Half Inc., to increase a not-to-exceed contract amount from $75,000 to $150,000 for temporary information technology staffing t services to support Barstow's citywide IT Projects; and
2. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents.
