APPROVAL OF PROPOSED ELECTRICAL BOX MURAL IMAGE - BARSTOW FINE ARTS ACADEMY - ELEMENTARY STUDENTS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
A representative from Main Street Murals will present a mural image rendering to the City Council for review and approval. The proposed Roadside Electrical Box Art Project is located at the northeast corner of Main Street and H Street.
DISCUSSION:
Section 7.2 of the Professional Services Agreement between Main Street Murals and the City requires that Main Street Murals present renderings of proposed mural images to the City Council for their approval before any painting work can take place. This includes MSM partnering with the Barstow Schools Art Department to develop a Roadside Electrical Box Art Project. Main Street Murals representative(s) will present the Council with a rendering for approval. The proposed Roadside Electrical Box Art Project is located at the north corner of Main Street and H Street.
FISCAL IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
That the City Council approve the proposed Roadside Electrical Box Art Project.
