Notice is hereby given that a hearing has been scheduled before the Barstow City Council on July 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. to hear your protest and/or objection to the assessment of the unpaid costs that accrued as a result of a nuisance abatement. On March 30, 2026, you were notified in writing of the balance due to the City of Barstow covering the expenses to abate the parcel.
After the adoption of the proposed resolution on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, a lien will be placed against the property if the balance due is not received in full by 5 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2026. The special assessment will consist of the delinquent amount, penalties, interest, and fees; additionally, you will be responsible for the administrative costs associated with recording and releasing the lien.
