PROTEST HEARING - UNPAID NUISANCE ABATEMENT FEES
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Conduct a protest hearing for the property owner who has been notified regarding an assessment for certain unpaid nuisance abatement fees for APN #0183-181-29-0000.
DISCUSSION:
At the meeting on July 21, 2026, the City Council set August 4, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. as the date and time for a hearing regarding the report of unpaid nuisance abatement fees.
The hearing is for a property owner who has been notified by letter regarding an assessment for certain unpaid nuisance abatement fees.
Records are updated as payments are received from property owners. Delinquent amounts are reflected as of July 30, 2026.
The Abatement Costs are as follows:
Public Works Department - Labor/Equipment $1,458.64
Attorney Fees Incurred $10,467.50
Finance Dept Admin Fees $ 75.00
Total Due $12,001.14

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Conduct a protest hearing. Subject to testimony received, adopt attached Resolution No. ____-2026 Making Determinations and Confirming Assessments and Proceedings for Unpaid Nuisance Abatement Fees, and waive the readings.
