NOTICE INVITING INFORMAL BID
CENTENNIAL PARK LANDSCAPE PROJECT
City of Barstow, California
Project Description. The City of Barstow invites informal bids for Centennial Park Landscape Project. Work includes demolition and removals of grouted rock pedestals, and planters. Remove native soil and store on site, Import soil, install concrete sidewalk, CMU retaining wall, concrete pad/slab, railroad tie stairway, ADA ramp, footing for shade structures, ADA hand rail, ADA guard rail, allowance for landscaping and irrigation, construction stagging and traffic control, erosion control and SWPPP, mobilization and demobilization, insurance, bond, payment for delay, public notification, pedestrian and vehicular access. Bid Documents. Complete bid documents, including scope of work, site map, prevailing wage requirements, and bid form, may be obtained by contacting Fidel Martinez, Senior Community Development Inspector at [email protected] or 760-255- 5159. This is a California prevailing wage public works project; contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the State of California’s Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Bids shall be submitted as a lump sum inclusive of all labor, materials, equipment, permits, taxes, and incidentals.
Bid Submission. All bids must be submitted to Fidel Martinez, Senior Community Development Inspector, 220 East Mountain View St. Suite A, Barstow, CA 92311, no later than August 10, 2026, by 12:00pm. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
