CONFIRMATION OF JOB CLASSIFICATIONS AND CORRECTED PUBLICLY AVAILABLE PAY
SCHEDULE
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On September 1, 2026, the City Council considered and approved an agenda item concerning the Police Services Manager, Deputy City Clerk, and Deputy Director classifications. Before the meeting, the staff report was amended to include job descriptions that were not included in the original agenda packet and a corrected Publicly Available Pay Schedule. Because the Council's motion did not expressly state that the item was approved as amended, staff is returning the complete materials for formal approval and a clear legislative record.
DISCUSSION:
The original September 1, 2026, staff report did not include all proposed job descriptions, and the Publicly Available Pay Schedule required correction. Amended materials were provided; however, the motion approved the agenda item without expressly incorporating those amendments. Approval of this return item will confirm the City Council's approval of the attached job descriptions and corrected Fiscal Year 2026/2027 Publicly Available Pay Schedule.
