APPROVAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT (PSA) FOR TRIMAX SYSTEMS EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Staff requests for approval of a Professional Service Agreement (PSA) for Trimax Systems to upgrade the city's existing Ignition SCADA System to Prospective with Mobile SCADA.
DISCUSSION:
The City of Barstow Wastewater Department currently has SCADA operational with Ignition version 7.9.
Ignition version 8.3 would move our current system from an end-of-life platform to a modern, highperformance automation ecosystem. In addition, this will let Trimax build a high-graphics mobile SCADA.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Wastewater Operations: 6058002 5905: $104,700.00
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends that the City Council take the following actions:
1. Approve a Professional Services Agreement with Trimax Systems to Ignition SCADA Upgrade to Prospective with Mobile SCADA and system Assessment.
2. Authorize the City Manager or designated representative to execute the PSA.
