Approval of all Ordinances and Resolutions to be read by title only.
C.1 Consideration of Approval of a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Beaumont, the Cherry Festival Association and the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District for the 2025 Cherry Festival
Consideration of a Memorandum of Understanding for the 2025 Cherry Festival to outline the terms, responsibilities and conditions for the City’s co-sponsorship of the event, which is scheduled to take place from May 29, 2025 through June 1, 2025.
Motion by Council Member White
Second by Mayor Lara
Approve the Memorandum of Understanding by and between the City of Beaumont, the Cherry Festival Association and the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Parks District; and authorize the Deputy City Manager to execute the Memorandum of Understanding. Authorize the Deputy City Manager to sign a contract with AWP Safety as long as the amount is within City Manager signing authority.

The next regular meeting of the Beaumont City Council, Beaumont Financing Authority, the Beaumont Successor Agency (formerly RDA), the Beaumont Utility Authority, the Beaumont Parking Authority and the Beaumont Public Improvement Agency is scheduled for May 6, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise posted.
