NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE COLLECTION OF CITY OF BELL SEWER
SERVICE CHARGES ON THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY TAX ROLL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 25, 2025, the City Council of the City of Bell adopted Resolution No. 2025-31 establishing sewer service charges for a five-year period.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of a resolution approving the collection of Fiscal Year 2026–2027 sewer service charges based on the previously approved rate schedule on the Los Angeles County property tax roll.
The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Bell Community Center, 6250 Pine Avenue, Bell, California 90201.
At the public hearing, the City Council will consider the Fiscal Year 2026–2027 Sewer Service Charge Report and the proposed collection of sewer service charges on the County tax roll for properties receiving sewer service within the City.
The Fiscal Year 2026–2027 Sewer Service Charge Report is available for public review at the Office of the City Clerk during regular business hours at Bell City Hall.
Interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and be heard on the matter.
If you challenge the City Council's action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Bell at or prior to the public hearing.
