SUBJECT: Official Travel Report – California Contract Cities Association, 2022 Fall Educational Summit, September 30 – October 2, 2022 (Pursuant to AB 1234)

State law requires that local government officials report on their official travel activities when public funds are expended. Therefore, pursuant to California Government Code Sections 53232.2 and 53232.3 and Bellflower City Council Resolution No. 06-02, the following Travel Report is submitted to the City Council.
On Saturday, October 1, 2022, Council Member Victor Sanchez and I traveled to Lake Arrowhead, CA, for the California Contract Cities Association, 2022 Fall Educational Summit.
Dates of the conference were September 30 – October 2, 2022. We returned to Bellflower on Sunday, October 2, 2022.

2022 Fall Educational Summit
Register Today!
Dear Contract Cities Family,
Registration is now open for our 2022 Fall Educational Summit. We are delighted to welcome you to Lake Arrowhead. This year's theme will be centered around Emergency Preparedness.
Educational Sessions, Collaboration, Advocacy
Registration opens at 3:30PM on Friday, September 30th, and we will kick off our conference with a boat tour of the lake at 5:00PM, followed by a welcome reception at 6:00PM that evening.
Please note that the boat tour will only be available to the first 60 people who confirm their reservation. Please select the appropriate box on the registration form if interested. Once we reach 60 guests, anyone confirming after, your name will be put on a waiting list.

Saturday will feature a full day of educational sessions starting with breakfast and registration at 7:00am. We will close the day with a celebratory dinner as we hear from our Keynote Speaker, Supervisor Janice Hahn.
On Sunday we will say our farewells, during our morning brunch.

Once you have completed your registration, you will received a confirmation email with your link to secure your room reservations.
Room reservations must be done only through the link provided. The group rate is only available to registered conference attendees.
Anyone who reserves a room on our block but is not registered for the conference will be removed from our group list.
