2022 Building Codes Update
Every 3 years, the CBSC is updated
This Ordinance amends portions of the 2022
CBSC and adopts the 2022 Edition of the
CBSC
• If adopted, the Ordinance will take effect in
30 days
2022 Building Codes Update
Projects for which a building permit
application and building plans were submitted
before the Ordinance's effective date, and for
which building permits are obtained within 90
days of the effective date, would be exempt
from the updated regulations.
*Urgency Ordinance No. 1422, which is
identical to this Ordinance except for the
urgency findings, was adopted on 12/12/22
