SUBJECT: Consideration and possible action to create a two Council Member ad hoc committee, comprised of Mayor Pro Tem Dan Koops and Council Member Victor Sanchez, to review and consider public safety services in Bellflower.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
At the request of Mayor Pro Tem Dan Koops and Council Member Victor Sanchez, staff recommends the creation of a two-member ad hoc committee tasked with the review and consideration of public safety services in Bellflower. This committee will be comprised of Mayor Pro Tem Dan Koops and Council Member Victor Sanchez, and it will convene as necessary to provide recommendations to the full City Council concerning public safety services.
RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL
1) Create a two Council Member ad hoc committee, comprised of Mayor Pro Tem Dan Koops and Council Member Victor Sanchez, to review and consider public safety services in Bellflower; or
2) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
