SUBJECT: Consideration and possible action to contribute $2,324 in Cannabis Education Funding for the 2023 Christmas with a Cop Event to take place on December 14, 2023.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Staff is recommending using Cannabis Education Funding for the 2023 Christmas with a Cop event – scheduled for December 14, 2023. The funding will be utilized to acquire gifts card and/or other appropriate gifts for underprivileged children in the community.
Any marketing of the event would include a drug prevention message targeted to vulnerable youth at risk of illicit drug use.
RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL
1) If appropriate, approve $2,324 in Cannabis Education Funding for the 2023 Christmas with a Cop event; or
2) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
