DISCUSSION

On November 14, 2022, the City awarded a contract to Select Electric for the construction of the Bellflower Gateway Sign in the amount of $491,150.00.

The requested budget amendment would provide additional funding for the project to cover soft costs, utility connection fees associated with the project site and a project change order issued as a result of unforeseen conditions found in the public right-of-way adjacent to the project site. An overall budget amendment in the amount of $80.000.00 is proposed to provide the additional funds needed in Account No. 020-47312-9000 to cover outstanding costs associated with the project.
