◦LA County Fire Department & Fire Museum seeking approval for Fire Service Day to be held in Bellflower on May 10, 2025, . ◦Fire Service Day is estimated to attract ~500-800 people to the Downtown.
Fire Service Day
◦Temporary street closure on Bellflower Blvd. from Mayne to Oak St. 8:00a.m. –4:00p.m.
◦Request to use parking structure behind the fire museum –only with approval from all impacted businesses.
◦LACFD & Museum responsible for traffic control and security.
Recommendations
◦Authorize the City Manager or Designee to issue an
encroachment permit for Fire Service Day; or
◦Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
