•Chef Hornero Restaurant has been operating at the
subject property since 2009
•Offers a variety of fine Peruvian cuisine
•Active Type 41 (On-Sale Beer and Wine – Eating
Place) license from the Department of Alcoholic
Beverage Control

Proposed Entertainment
Live Musical Performers:
•Various musical persons or groups
•Types of music and musical instruments may vary
based upon the performer(s); however, the type of
music and performers is intended to showcase
cultural Latin American dance (Costumbrist)
•Performers may vary from 1 to 8
•Performer(s) will be located in the prescribed
“Stage / Dancing Area” of the restaurant

Proposed Entertainment
DJs and Karaoke :
•A DJ booth will be located on the “Stage” where up
to two DJs will mix and control the audio
•DJs will play recorded music for the purposes of
allowing guests to sing along with lyrics (Karaoke)
played on screens
Dancing:
•Dancing will be restricted within the “Dancing
Area”

Hours of Operation:
•Sunday through Thursday
11:00AM to 12:00AM (Business Hours)
•Friday and Saturday
11:00AM to 2:00AM (Business Hours)
11:00AM to 1:30AM (Food and Drink Service)
Security:
•Controlled access for patrons through the front
entrance only, adjacent to the parking area
•Camera system installed throughout the interior
and on the exterior to monitor key areas
•Security personnel will be present during
entertainment hours

Recommendation

1.Open the public hearing, take testimonial and
documentary evidence, and after considering the
evidence, adopt Resolution No. 25-29; or

2.Alternatively, discuss and take other action related
to this item.
