12 PUBLIC HEARINGS
A Consideration and possible action to conduct a public hearing to consider adopting Resolution No. 26-12 – A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute Purchase and Sale Agreement File No. 1125, in a form approved by the City Attorney, between the City of Bellflower and Bellflower 5 Inv, LLC for the purchase of real property located at 9855 Flower Street (APN 7109-013-904). [Continued from March 23, 2026]
CEQA: This matter is exempt from additional review under the California Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code §§ 21000, et seq., "CEQA") and the regulations promulgated thereunder (14 California Code of Regulations §§ 15000, et seq., the "CEQA Guidelines"), because it authorizes the sale of real properties only; it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that this disposition, by itself, will cause a direct physical change in the environment and is therefore not considered a “project” pursuant to CEQA § 21065. Any future development on the Properties will require separate CEQA scrutiny.
Recommendation to City Council: 1) Re-open the public hearing; take testimonial and documentary evidence, and after considering the evidence, adopt Resolution No. 26-12 authorizing the City Manager to execute Purchase and Sale Agreement File No. 1125, in a form approved by the City Attorney; or 2) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
