RE: Public Comment for ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT CASE NO. ZOTA 26-01 Dear City Clerk,
We respectfully submit our opposition to the subject Zoning Ordinance Text Amendment for the following reasons. The change of zoning is not in compliance with the Required Findings for Change Zone in accordance with the Bellflower Municipal Code.

1. The zoning change will not be in the interest of public health, safety and general welfare.
a. It will significantly increase the traffic congestion in the intersection of Alondra Blvd. and Clark Ave.
b. Affordable housing could increase crime.
c. It will significantly increase the traffic and competition with street parking on Harvard St., a residential area.

2. The zoning change will have an adverse effect on the value of adjoining and surrounding properties.
