You don't often get email from [email protected]. Learn why this is important Hello Clerk,
In effort to have my comment heard at the next city council fire protection district on June 25, I am writing this email to you. I may not be available to make comment in person or over zoom.

I need to urgently bring this to your attention. It seems that the landowners of a large swath of property in Belmont Canyon are being refused access to clear vegetation, for fire protection, that is clearly in need of cutback and management. I have brought this to the attention of the City of Belmont Police Dept code enforcement officer and City of Belmont and it seems this matter has not been addressed... The buck is being passed as they say... The can is being kicked down the road...

Landowners, Linda & Zach Scibior are blaming city for no access and I'm blaming landowner for not maintaining fire safety on the land surrounding my property and my neighbor's property... And no one is holding landowners accountable. Not fair. The land that is not being maintained by the Scibiors, is and should be a great concern to all residences in the area. Most don't know it's privately owned! Please help protect this place I andany others call home. We all do our part to be compliant. I clear my property every year and cut all my trees for safety and just good homesteading reasons... I don't want my efforts and my neighbor's efforts to go wasted because one landowner can't access their land to clear it and b cause the city isn't holding them accountable.

I highly recommend you review this matter with the below individuals who are in the loop and come to a solution before it gets dryer... Fires are burning across California as you know.

Subject: Concern Regarding Fire Safety - Residential
Hello,
I would like to inquire about a parcel of land under ownership that is vacant and that is not being maintained to fire prevention standards.

My home is next to a parcel of land that has not been cleared and is overgrown by shrubs and trees, etc.

My address is 1906 Bishop Rd, and the lot behind 1910 Bishop is the parcel I am inquiring about. Looking fwd to a response eon who to address this or to whom I should be reaching out to.

Subject: Support of limited parking at Artisan Crossing Date: Tuesday, May 28, 2024 10:39:57 AM
Dear Councilmembers,
I am the Executive Director of the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA), and I'm writing to support the recommended resolution of implementing two hour timed parking at Artisan Crossing. CSMA has an arts studio space in Artisan Crossing that serves local families. Our entrance is on Old County Road, and the lack of parking has been very challenging. We believe that implementing two hour parking will be very helpful in alleviating this challenge.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best,
Adriana
