CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA

MEETING ATTENDANCE and PUBLIC COMMENT:
1. The public may attend the meeting at the Belmont Library, 1110 Alameda de Las Pulgas, and have an opportunity to provide comments on items on this agenda.
All public comments are subject to a 3-minute time limit unless otherwise determined by the Chair.
If you wish to submit written public comment, you may send an email to [email protected] before the council considers the item. Please indicate the agenda item topic or agenda item number you wish to comment on in your email’s subject line. Any public comment regarding agenda items that are received from the time of publication of the agenda and 3 hours before the start of the meeting will be distributed to the Council prior to the meeting and made part of the meeting record. Written public comments will not be read during the Council meeting.
The Mayor has the authority to rule any speaker out of order, including speakers during the Public Comment period; If the subject raised is not within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City Council, during a public hearing or a general business item if the speaker is not presenting testimony or evidence relevant to the matter or if the speaker becomes disruptive to the proceedings and conduct of the meeting.
The Mayor also has the authority to order any person who willfully interrupts the meeting to be removed. All persons are expected to conduct themselves with civility and courtesy at all times. All persons giving comments shall speak directly to the Council and address issues, not individuals.
Personal attacks, cursing and outbursts from the audience in support or opposition to a speaker are not tolerated in order to foster an environment where everyone feels welcome to speak.
Persons wishing to orally address the Council on the items of business listed below will be given an opportunity to do so before or during the Councils consideration of the item.

General Business items are considered separately, typically in the order listed. The Chair will call for public comment on each item when the body considers the item.
Recommendation: Discuss and provide direction on the information presented at the workshop, identify any key projects or priorities, and updates related to the items presented for the upcoming year(s), and clarify if there are any new priorities that should be considered for fiscal year 2025-2026, and beyond
