1. CALL TO ORDER 9:13 AM

COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: McCune, Latimerlo, Pang-Maganaris, Jordan, Mates COUNCILMEMBERS ABSENT: None
Members of the Senior Management Team as well as Second in Commands were also present
3. GENERAL BUSINESS
A. FY 2026-27 Strategic Planning Workshop and Council Recess Dates City department staff provided brief updates on the status of key strategic initiatives and facilitated discussion with Council regarding implementation of the Strategic Plan and departmental work plan priorities for Fiscal Year 2026–2027. Council did not identify any new priorities for the upcoming fiscal year.
Council reviewed the proposed City Council meeting schedule for the remainder of calendar year 2026, the City Council Protocols and Code of Conduct, and received information regarding implementation of SB 707 and SB 827 requirements.
ACTION: On a motion made by Councilmember Pang-Maganaris and seconded by Councilmember McCune the August 11 and 25 and December 26, 2026 meeting dates were cancelled for summer and holiday recess.
