INTRODUCTION
On April 26, 2022, the City Council reviewed the FY 22-23 proposed City Council priorities and deliverables. This item provides an overview of the items the City Council requested be included in the FY 22-23 priorities document.
DISCUSSION
Each year, the City Council conducts a priority setting session in order to determine what the City’s priorities are for the upcoming fiscal year. This includes identifying what deliverables can be accomplished for each priority by the City’s departments. In general, the deliverables that are listed can be achieved within the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
On April 26, 2022, staff provided an overview of what was accomplished in FY 21-22 on the current City Council initiatives and what the intended deliverables are for FY 22-23.
The City Council was able to ask questions of staff, suggest updates for the deliverables, and introduce new priorities.

FISCAL IMPACT
Funding for most of the items listed on page 2 of this report is included in the proposed FY 22-23 budget.
Should additional budgetary funding be required for implementing a deliverable, then staff will return to the City Council for further direction. For example, staff anticipates there are costs involved for expanding the stroke mobile to be present in Beverly Hills full time; however, the cost is currently unknown. Once the program is explored fully and all costs are accounted for, then staff will return to Council with a proposal and potential funding solutions.
