RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the resolution appointing Barry D.
Pressman, MD as a representative to the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
INTRODUCTION
This report transmits a formal request to appoint Barry D. Pressman, MD as a representative to the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California for the term as follows:

DISCUSSION
Staff presented the report to the City Council at the Study Session on May 24, 2022. At that meeting, the City Council approved that the resolution be presented for formal consideration.

FISCAL IMPACT
The representative to the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California receives a $200 per month stipend from the City’s Water Enterprise Fund.

RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BEVERLY HILLS REAPPOINTING REPRESENTATIVE
TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT OF SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA (BARRY PRESSMAN)
WHEREAS, on August 22, 2017, the City Council designated the following individuals to be the City’s representative to the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California for the term indicated.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Beverly Hills resolves as follows:
Section 1. The following individual is hereby reappointed by the City Council of the City of Beverly Hills to be the City’s representative to the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California for the term indicated.
