Beverly Hills City Council
455 North Rexford Drive
Beverly Hills, CA 90210
Dear Mayor and Councilmembers:

As residents in the southwest part of town, one of our foremost concerns is always traffic. What an amazing opportunity the Cheval Blanc presents - we gain a world class hotel without the usual banquet facilities that often create so much traffic congestion.

We appreciated how the LVMH team responded to public and city feedback, widening the sidewalks and revising the parking plan and access. And we look forward to having a new destination restaurant within walking distance.

This would be an amazing addition to our city and we hope you allow it to move forward.

Thanks for your consideration,

Dear Mr. Alkire and City Council:

The Cheval Blanc is a superbly designed building that
will elevate the area and drive much needed revenue to
the City. Through their broad community outreach and
the Planning Commission’s detailed hearings, the LVMH
team has collaborated with the community to bring a
phenomenal project to you.

Its design is in scale for the area and has been
carefully articulated to enhance the pedestrian
experience. The retail, club and restaurant will be
fantastic local draws. Many of us have already stayed at the new Paris hotel and reviews of that property make us even more excited to gain Cheval Blanc’s first North
American hotel here in Beverly Hills.

This is all upside for Beverly Hills without negative
impacts. Please, bring this project to life as soon as possible.

Dear City Council:

As longtime supporters of Beverly Hills schools and active members of the community, we write to express our unequivocal support of the Cheval Blanc.

Beyond its clear financial benefits to the city, this will be an exceptional addition to the community architecturally and culturally. It was made clear in the preview presentations that the craftsmanship will truly be something to behold. Further, fine art will be visible not only from the street, but also throughout the property.

Reshaping the north ends of Rodeo and Beverly will transform those streets, attract a new echelon of visitors and enhance the beauty and walkability of that part of our city.

We hope you approve this and make it a reality for Beverly Hills.

Thank you,

Beverly Hills, VA 90212
Dear Mayor Bosse and Members of the Council:

Having seen the Cheval Blanc presentation and reviewed their plans in detail, we encourage you to approve this project as submitted quickly and decisively.

Rodeo Drive has evolved globally through the visionary leadership of property owners, world class businesses and our forward-thinking City Council. Its status has consistently been strengthened and elevated through the years by the property and business owners who continue to invest in Beverly Hills. One such significant stakeholder has long been LVMH. Their Cheval Blanc concept is another pivotal visionary step towards the future we all wish to see for our city.

The caliber of hotel, retail and club clients this stunning property will attract is unmatched. Its engaging, carefully articulated design and open ground floor restaurant will not only transform both Rodeo and Beverly Drives, but will help continue the evolution and elevation of Beverly Hills, as a brand and a destination.

Much like the famed Beverly Hills Hotel, and later the Beverly Wilshire, helped put Beverly Hills on the map, this new landmark will invigorate the city’s status as a leading luxury destination, both locally and abroad. Cheval Blanc’s economic benefits to the entire community are irrefutable. The larger impacts it will have for decades to come in driving business to our existing commercial district and attracting new businesses and investment are truly immeasurable.

Kind regards,
Steven Gordon Wally Marks
Bruce Meyer
