Dear Mr. Alkire,
I would like to congratulate and thank the Mayor and City Council for thoroughly reviewing the Development Agreement for the proposed Cheval Blanc Hotel.
I am a longtime resident of Beverly Hills. I also own and operate a business in the City. In addition, I own commercial property within the City. As such, my perspective could be unique and hopefully valuable.
As proposed, this signature property will lead the way in enhancing the Golden Triangle for years to come. I believe it is appropriate in size and scale, and it carries the cache that is necessary for Beverly Hills to keep ahead of the competition that surrounds us.
The revenue that this project will generate will prove valuable in preserving and even enhancing the City services that our residents and businesses deserve. In addition, it will allow for the business district improvements that are necessary to ensure safety and security within our City. Our world-class school system has much to gain from the increased revenue produced by Cheval Blanc.
This is a huge win for the city!
