RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council appoint Deborah Termeie and John (JR) Dzubak, Jr. to the Recreation and Parks Commission to replace outgoing Commissioners Alissa Roston (term ends: December 31, 2022), and Julian Javor (term ends: June 30, 2023). It is also recommended that the City Council appoint Lisa Greer to the Community Charitable Foundation to replace outgoing Foundation Member Allison Balson (term ends: June 30, 2023).
Ms. Termeie’s term will commence on January 1, 2023 and end on December 31, 2025.
She will be eligible for reappointment per Beverly Hills Municipal Code Section 2-2-105 after finishing her first two-year term. Ms. Termeie will be replacing outgoing Commissioner Alissa Roston (term ends: December 31, 2022).
Mr. Dzubak’s term will commence on July 1, 2023 and end on June 30, 2025. He will be eligible for reappointment per Beverly Hills Municipal Code Section 2-2-105 after finishing his first two-year term. Mr. Dzubak will be replacing outgoing Commissioner Julian Javor (term ends: June 30, 2023).
Ms. Greer’s term will commence on July 1, 2023 and end on June 30, 2025. She will be eligible for reappointment per Beverly Hills Municipal Code Section 2-2-105 after finishing her first two-year term. Ms. Greer will be replacing outgoing Commissioner Allison Balson (term ends: June 30, 2023).

INTRODUCTION
This report transmits a formal request to appoint Deborah Termeie and John (JR) Dzubak, Jr. to the Recreation and Parks Commission and Lisa Greer to the Community Charitable Foundation for the terms provided.
DISCUSSION
Staff presented the Recreation and Parks Commission and Community Charitable Foundation Interview Panel Reports to the City Council at the Study Session of December 6, 2022. This action will approve the appointments presented to the City Council at this meeting.
