Gentlemen:
I'm in receipt of your letter dated August 22, 2023 regarding the proposed development of an affordable housing project at the above address.
Although I'm not aware what this particular project will look like, what it will cost, who will pay for it, how many units it will have I don't believe that putting a housing project for low income people into the heart of Beverly Hills is making much sense.
The people who eventually would move into this development will be surrounded by very expensive markets and restaurants which they are most likely not able to afford.
It will create envy towards the residents who are paying rents in the range of a few thousand dollars up.
Depending on the actual building plan there could be an increase in traffic and parking requirements.
I'm against this project.
