RECOMMENDATION
This report requests that the City Council formally appoint Lori Greene Gordon, Andy Licht and Alan Robert Block to the Cultural Heritage Commission for an initial two-year term. After completion of their initial two-years, they each will be eligible for reappointment per Beverly Hills Municipal Code Section 2-2-105 for an additional fouryear term.
INTRODUCTION
The following appointments are recommended for an initial two-year term:
• Lori Greene Gordon
o Term: July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2026
o Seat: Commissioner Jill Tavelman Collins
o Commissioner Jill Tavelman Collins has received an extension of term to fill former Commissioner Craig Corman’s seat until December 31, 2024. • Andy Licht
o Term: January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2026
o Seat: Former Commissioner Craig Corman
• Alan Robert Block
o Term: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027
o Seat: Commissioner Kimberly Vinokur
DISCUSSION
Staff presented the Cultural Heritage Commission Interview Panel Report to the City Council at the Study Session of June 18, 2024. The action will approve the appointment presented to the City Council at this meeting.
