RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that City Council continue this matter to the January 9, 2025 meeting.

INTRODUCTION
On June 13, 2024, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 2061 approving a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow temporary construction offices, a mock-up area, surface parking, and a temporary pedestrian access bridge on the property located at 9900 North Santa Monica Boulevard to support the construction of the One Beverly Hills project located at 9876, 9900, and 9988 Wilshire Boulevard. Approval of the temporary pedestrian bridge was contingent upon City Council’s approval of an encroachment permit.

DISCUSSION
Although not required, a courtesy public notice for the requested encroachment permit was mailed to all property owners and occupants within a 500-foot radius plus block face surrounding the One Beverly Hills project site. Notice was also published in the Beverly Hills Weekly on November 21, 2024 and the Beverly Hills Courier on November 29, 2024.

Subsequent to the issuance of public notices, additional time was required to finalize the encroachment agreement between the City and the private property owners. Therefore, it is recommended that the item be continued to the January 9, 2025 City Council meeting.

FISCAL IMPACT
None.
