Dear Honorable City Councilmembers,
I’ve been a resident of Beverly Hills for the last 2 years and feel very fortunate to live in this city as a young professional. My commute to work is definitely brutal, but it’s worth it because I want to live in a safe area like Beverly Hills.
Importantly, I want the ability to continue living here and want other young professionals to have the same opportunity. I’m writing to you to share my support for the new proposed condo development called Eastern.
Reading the Courier article I’m so happy knowing there is an opportunity to buy a condo in Beverly Hills in the near future. As a young professional, I’m not at a place in my life to buy a house; a small condo in a vibrant part of town is what I need at this point in my life/career.
As leaders, I really hope you consider the next generation of the city. Owning a single-family home in Beverly Hills is not an achievable priority for many. A priority is having a high quality of life in a safe city where we can easily get around by walking or transit and still live in a well-kept and amenity rich neighborhood. I truly believe this project can give me this and it will do so much good for this end of the city.
