discussed months ago and was expected to be voted on in July, yet it remains unresolved. It’s disingenuous to move forward with project endorsements while failing to enact the very protections that were promised to residents.

Further, I am alarmed that the City is including this project in an application for $34 million of the $101 million in fire disaster relief funding. Using disaster relief intended for devastated areas like Palisades and Eaton Canyon to subsidize a private development in southeastern Beverly Hills is, frankly, shameful. It undermines the integrity of our City and its standing with the State.

Lastly, no meaningful concessions are being asked of the developer in exchange for public support and funding. Where are the requirements for additional parking, height reductions, sidewalk setbacks, or enhanced landscaping? Why is this developer being given our endorsement with no strings attached?
This entire process—from the lack of notification, to the rushed votes, to the inappropriate use of disaster funds—raises serious concerns about transparency and priorities. I respectfully ask the Council to:

Vote NO on the proposed endorsement and $500,000
allocation;
Delay any further decisions until proper community outreach is conducted; and
Prioritize the passage of the parking permit
ordinance before taking further action on Builder’s Remedy projects.

Thank you for your attention and for representing all voices in our community—not just the developers'
