RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council appoint Mr. Michael Karric to the Traffic and Parking Commission to fill the scheduled vacancy for outgoing commissioner Sharon Ignarro, M.D. If approved, Mr. Karric’s initial two-year term will begin on July 1, 2025 and end on June 30, 2027.
He will be eligible for reappointment to a second term of four years per Beverly Hills Municipal Code Section 2-2-105.
INTRODUCTION
This report transmits a formal request to appoint Mr. Michael Karric to the Traffic and Parking Commission for the term provided.
DISCUSSION
Staff presented the Traffic and Parking Commission Interview Panel report to the City Council at the Study Session of May 20, 2025. This action will approve the appointment presented to the City Council at this meeting.
