CIP 00195: Street and Sidewalk Improvements
Tentative Five-Year Schedule of Streets and Alleys
The Public Works Department utilizes a Pavement Management System to collect, analyze, and report pavement data to assist in setting budget levels and selecting appropriate pavement repair strategies to maximize the life of the City’s streets and alleys. The 107 miles of streets and 45 miles of alleys are organized into geographic zones which are used as the basis for organizing annual projects for cost-effective construction contracts. The tentative list of streets and alleys below were chosen based on their pavement conditions and organized by zones. This list is subject to change as the project is designed and all factors are considered (annual budget approval, development activity, roadway condition, utility conflicts, etc.).
