RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council appoint Amir Dar, William Heyer and Elliot Zarabi to the Public Works Commission to fill scheduled vacancies on the commission.
If approved, all three will be appointed for an initial two-year term based on the terms provided.
They will also be eligible for reappointment to a second term of four years per Beverly Hills Municipal Code Section 2-2-105.
INTRODUCTION
This report transmits a formal request to appoint the following to the Public Works Commission for the terms provided:
• Amir Dar (Term: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027)
Outgoing Commissioner Susan Kimora (Term ends: June 30, 2025) • William Heyer (Term: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2027) Outgoing Commissioner John Millan (Term ends: December 31, 2025) • Elliot Zarabi (Term: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028)
Outgoing Commissioner Wendy Nystrom (Term Ends: June 30, 2026) E-7

DISCUSSION
Staff presented the Public Works Commission Interview Panel report to the City Council at the Study Session of June 3, 2025. This action will approve the appointment presented to the City Council at this meeting.
