DISCUSSION
1 Commissioner Sherry’s term was extended until the vacancy was filled.
Subject: RECREATION AND PARKS COMMISSION APPOINTMENT (JASMINE K.
YADGARI AND DONNA A. GILLMAN)
It is recommended that the City Council appoint Jasmine K. Yadgari and Donna A. Gillman to the Recreation and Parks Commission to fill two vacancies on the commission.
If approved, both will be appointed for an initial two-year term based on the terms provided. They will also be eligible for reappointment to a second term of four years per Beverly Hills Municipal Code Section 2-2-105. Both midyear appointments will follow the January rotation schedule as outlined in the Commissioners’ Handbook.

This report presents a formal request to the City Council to appoint the following to the Recreation and Parks Commission for the terms provided:

Staff presented the Recreation and Parks Commission Interview Panel report to the City Council at the Study Session of November 12, 2025. The two candidates will begin serving on December 1, 2025. Their midyear appointments will align with the January 1 rotation cycle.
This action will approve the appointment presented to the City Council at this meeting.
