A -DIRECTION
1. Affordable Housing Development at the Gale Yard
The Housing Element of the City’s General plan states that 125 affordable housing units are proposed to be developed at the Gale Yard, which is City-owned land at the northwest corner of the Wilshire Boulevard and Gale Drive intersection. The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (‘Metro”) utilized the entire property under multiple temporary construction easements until their termination by Metro on October 27, 2025, and the property is now vacant.
