INTRODUCTION
The Swearing In Ceremony for Police Chief Max Subin is scheduled for Monday, August 10, 2026, in front of City Hall (Crescent Drive Side) from 6pm – 7:30pm. All are welcome to attend.
DISCUSSION
The 400 Block of North Crescent Drive will be closed between South Santa Monica Blvd and North Santa Monica Blvd from Monday, August 10, 2026, at 5pm – 8pm to safely host the community event.
The street closure will be managed and implemented by the Public Works Department.
The Police Department will ensure the street closure is set up in accordance with the approved plan.
Traffic Control Officers (TCO) will be stationed at intersections that have been identified as high-volume crosswalks. TCOs will assist participants to cross safely.
FISCAL IMPACT
All expenses are funded through approved departmental budgets.
