INTRODUCTION
On April 21, 2026, the City Council reviewed and approved the City Council Meeting Dates from May 2026 – December 2026. This report requests changes to two City Council meeting dates.
DISCUSSION
The City Council is requested to consider cancelling the Tuesday, September 15, 2026, meeting. It is believed that three meeting dates in September will not be needed.
In addition, Mayor Craig A. Corman has shared a scheduling conflict for the Tuesday, December 8, 2026, meeting and has requested that the City Council consider rescheduling the meeting to a new date. The date of Wednesday, December 9, 2026, is proposed as an alternate meeting date.
FISCAL IMPACT
None.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff requests City Council consideration and direction on the request to cancel the Tuesday, September 15, 2026 City Council Meeting and approval to reschedule the Tuesday, December 8 meeting to Wednesday, December 9, 2026.
