A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Big Bear Lake was called to order by Mayor Putz at 9:05 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2023, at the Civic Center, 39707 Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake, California.

PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
Theodore Trentman, Big Bear Lake resident, discussed the websites he has developed for Big Bear residents to utilize as free community resources; indicated that he would like to see more diverse entertainment options for Big Bear residents and visitors.
DISCUSSION & ACTION ITEM
1. CITY COUNCIL STRATEGIC PRIORITIES DISCUSSION
City Council received a presentation from Jacob Green & Associates and engaged in a discussion regarding their collective vision and strategic priorities for Big Bear Lake.
At the hour of 10:05 a.m., Mayor Putz called a short recess.
At the hour of 10:15 a.m. Mayor Putz called reconvened the meeting.
City Council engaged in further discussion and offered their input in relation to their collective vision and strategic priorities for Big Bear Lake.
Following City Council’s discussion, Mayor Putz invited speakers that wished to speak on the item and the following individual approached Council:
Dennis Large, Big Bear Lake resident, commended the City Council and City Manager for holding this Special Meeting; expressed he looks forward to hearing the results of Closed Session and the upcoming Budget process.
