A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Big Bear Lake was called to order by Mayor Melnick at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Civic Center, 39707 Big Bear Blvd., Big Bear Lake, California.

1. DISCUSSION & ACTION ITEM
1.1 FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 PROPOSED BUDGET AND 5-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM
City Council received a collaborative presentation from several members of the City staff regarding the City's proposed FY 2024-25 Budget and 5-Year Capital Improvement Program.
Following the presentation and City Council questions, Mayor Melnick invited up speakers who wanted to make a public comment on this item and no individuals approached the City Council.
After continued Council discussion, Councilmember Herrick made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Putz, directing staff to reduce the Sanitation Fund's contribution to the annual Street Rehabilitation program by $23,000 and reallocate those funds to cover the $23,000 Sanitation revenue shortfall in the proposed FY 2024- 25 Budget.
Said motion was approved by the following vote:

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council at this Special Meeting, Mayor Melnick adjourned the meeting at 11:56 a.m.
