A Special Meeting of the Big Bear Lake City Council was called to order by Mayor Melnick at 4:35 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, located at 42801 Moonridge Road, Big Bear Lake, California.

1. DISCUSSION ITEM
1.1 2024 STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS - "INVESTING IN OUR COMMUNITY" A collective "2024 State of the City Address" presentation was delivered by the following individuals:
1. Mayor Perri Melnick
2. Kelly Tinker, Economic Development Manager
3. Mayor Pro Tem Kendi Segovia
4. Councilmember Randall Putz
5. Councilmember Rick Herrick
6. Sean Sullivan, Assistant City Manager
At the hour of 5:09 p.m., Mayor Melnick called for a recess; and at the hour of 5:38 p.m. Mayor Melnick reconvened the meeting.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATION
Mayor Melnick invited up speakers who wanted to speak on this item. The following individual made a public comment:
Dan Gulbranson, Big Bear Lake resident, expressed his overall dissatisfaction with the City of Big Bear Lake's operations and leadership.
