A Special Meeting of the Big Bear Lake City Council was called to order by Mayor Melnick at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at the Civic Center, 39707 Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake, California.

PUBLIC COMMUNICATION
Mayor Melnick invited up speakers who wanted to speak on this item. The following individual made a public comment:
David Clasen. Big Bear Lake resident, questioned why a recent Big Bear Lake Lowrider Invasion car show event was cancelled.
At the hour of 4:04 p.m., Mayor Melnick called for a recess; and at the hour of 5:00 p.m. Mayor Melnick reconvened the meeting.
1. DISCUSSION ITEM
1.1 2025 STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS - "CELEBRATING 45 YEARS OF BIG BEAR LAKE"
Mayor Melnick delivered the 2025 State of the City Address and moderated a panel discussion featuring the following former Mayors of Big Bear Lake: David Caretto, Rick Herrick, Bill Jahn, Randall Putz, and Norm Reinik.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council at this Open Session, Mayor Melnick adjourned the Special Meeting at 6:04 p.m.
