SPECIAL MEETING January 31, 2023
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
1. SPECIAL MEETING CALLED TO ORDER:
The special council meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Mayor Bassett. Vice Mayor Nuchols, Councilmembers Buck, Sheppard and Squires were present. Staff present: Interim City Administrator Dennis Schmidt, City Attorney Greg Einhorn and City Clerk Roben Benish.

4. COUNCIL CONSIDERATION:
A. Interim City Administrator – Trainee Agreement
Council was asked to consider approval of the Employment Agreement with Richard Crabtree, Interim City Administrator – Trainee Position.
Motion/Second to approve the Employment Agreement with Richard Crabtree. (Bassett/Nuchols, MCU)
B. Utility Financial Solutions Rate Study.
Mr. Schmidt discussed the rate study and the possibility of rate increases.

6. ADJOURNMENT: Council adjourned the special meeting at 4:40 p.m.
