1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Schwartz called the special meeting of the Bishop City Council to order at 4:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 301 West Line Street, Bishop, California.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor Schwartz.
3. ROLL CALL

4. PUBLIC COMMENT – NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC: This time is set aside to receive public comment on matters agendized for closed session only. When recognized by the Mayor, please state your name, and address for the record and please limit your comments to three minutes. Under California law the City Council is prohibited from generally discussing or taking action on items not included in the agenda; however, the City Council may briefly respond to comments or questions from members of the public. Therefore, the City Council will listen to all public comment but will not generally discuss the matter or take action on it.
Closed session was cancelled. No public comments were made on matters agendized for closed session.

10. FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 BUDGET WORKSHOP - Council to review and discuss the City of Bishop Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget – Administration/Finance.

HANDOUT - From Bishop Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau HANDOUT - From 18th District Agricultural Association Tri-County Fairgrounds City Administrator Dishion reviewed this item with Council and introduced Assistant Finance Director Rodricks to review the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget with Council.
Assistant Finance Director Rodricks reviewed the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget with Council.
After Council made several comments on looking at the City's strategic plan priorities, focusing on completing one large project, patching sidewalks and completing some small projects, and finding ways to address code enforcement, they thanked staff for all of their work on the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget.
No public comments were made.
11. ADJOURNMENT Monday, May 23, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. Regular Meeting in the City Council Chambers.
The Mayor adjourned the Special Meeting at 5:31 p.m. to the City Council Regular Meeting scheduled for Monday, May 23, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. ______________________________________
