City Park Pool Resurfacing Project
This addendum is to amend the Bid Documents for Section B Bid Items. Section 1. and Section B Materials. To include the following: Remove and replace two Skimmer Assemblies and remove and replace all Coping Tile.
B. BID ITEMS
1. Wading Pool Skimmer Assembly including Concrete Figure 1&5 • Contractor shall remove the existing concrete 5-8 cu ft and Skimmer Assembly. Inground concrete embedded connecting to existing plumbing. See Figure 1. See Figure 5 • Installation of 2 new Hayward SP-1070 Skimmer Assembly and concrete 5-8 cu ft. or approved equal.
Connect to existing plumbing. See Figure 1. See Figure 5 • Contractor shall remove and replace any damaged concrete deck, match to existing concrete joints approximal 300 sq ft. The concrete deck shall be 4 inches thick on top of 4 inches of compacted (90%) class II base. See Figure 1
• Contractor shall remove and replace all Coping Tile to match existing
MATERIALS
1. Portland Cement Concrete
All Concrete shall be 711 Materials, Mix 650065A6, or equal. And shall include Synthetic Fiber Reinforcement
Synthetic fibers shall be either nylon multifilament fiber or polypropylene collated fibrillated fiber or monofilament fiber. Nylon multifilament or polypropylene monofilament fibers shall be introduced at the rate of 1 pound per cubic yard at the standard length of ¾ inch. Polypropylene collated fibrillated fiber shall be introduced at the rate of 1.5 pounds per cubic yard at the standard length of ¾ inch. Synthetic fibers shall be added at the concrete batch plant and mixed with the other ingredients for 3 to 5 minutes. The concrete producer shall list the type and quantity of synthetic fiber added on each delivery ticket. City of Bishop Park Pool Resurfacing Page 24 of 25 Special Provisions Materials
2. Aggregate Base Aggregate base shall be Class 2 and may be 100 percent reclaimed material.
3. Plaster/Marcite Large Pool and Wading Pool Plaster/Marcite modified cement and be white in color
4. Wading Pool Skimmer Assembly Contractor to remove both existing Skimmer Assemblies and replace with Hayward SP-1070 Skimmer Assembly or approved equal. See Figure 5. 203

5. Drain Covers for Large Pool and Wading Pool Drain covers must comply with the Virginia Graeme Baker Act.
• Wading Pool – 8” round 180 GPM, White, stainless screws approved equal. See Figure 3 • Large Pool – 18”x18” flat square, White, stainless screws approved equal. See Figure 4
6. Water Line Wading Pool To match existing. Glazed 6 x 6.
7. Trim Tile Large Pool and Wading Pool Sapphire Blue 2x2 non glazed.
8. Replace all Coping Tile to match existing.
9. Crack repair material Wading Pool Pneumatic placed concrete. 4,000 PSI Shotcrete mix.
10. Surplus Excavated Material Surplus soil and debris may be disposed of at the Bishop Sunland Landfill, 108 Sunland Indian Reservation Rd. Bishop, CA 93514.
There are no other changes to the Plans or Specifications.
