SPECIAL MEETING
SEPTEMBER 9, 2025
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Kong called the special joint meeting of the Bishop City Council and the Bishop Paiute Tribal Council to order at 12:11 p.m. in the Justice Center/Tribal Council Chambers, 50 Tu Su Lane, Bishop, California.

3. A MEET AND GREET LUNCHEON HOSTED BY THE BISHOP PAIUTE TRIBAL
COUNCIL
After introductions were made by all in attendance, Bishop Paiute Tribal Chief Executive Officer Byrd started the meeting’s discussions by discussing the upcoming California Indian Day Festivities scheduled to begin on September 26, 2025 through September 28, 2025.

After a lengthy discussion on past, current, and future projects in their respective jurisdictions, no action was taken.
Mayor Kong thanked the Tribal Council and staff for hosting this meeting’s lunch at their new Justice Center and Tribal Chambers.
4. ADJOURNMENT
The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 1:33 p.m. to the City Council Meeting scheduled for Monday, September 22, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. ______________________________________
