CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pro Tem Muchovej called the Bishop City Council special joint meeting with the Bishop Rural Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners to order at 4:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 301 West Line Street, Bishop, California. 2)

NEW BUSINESS
5.A)
Discussion of Relationship between the City of Bishop and the Bishop Rural Fire Protection District for Community Fire Services City Administrator Foster reviewed this item with the City Council and the District Board of Commissioners.
A discussion ensued on what path would both agencies want to consider moving forward on: 1. A joint powers agreement; 2. A joint powers authority; or 3. An agreement to contract for services.
After a thorough discussion on the best path to work together on, the City Council and the District Board of Commissioners came to a consensus to direct staff to finalize a draft service agreement for both agencies to review and approve. 6)
ADJOURNMENT
The Mayor Pro Tem adjourned the meeting at 5:30 p.m. to the City Council Regular Meeting scheduled for Monday, November 10, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. ______________________________________
