Subject: Comment for city council
I would like to request that this be submitted to the public record. For the city council meeting on july 18.
With regards to the lemon avenue trail, we generally approve of the project. 1- We would like the city to stake and mark the requested easement at the corner of Lemon and Winston. 2- We have received the new language of the indemnity, and agree with it. 3- Since our driveway apron is excluded from the planned project work, we would like our driveway apron to be included in the indemnity as long as it is built to the city approved plans. 4- We would like the city to indemnify us where they have requested easement from us at the corner and along Winston 5- We would like to ask the city to remove the prior grading requirement imposed, which calls for grading right up to the trunk of a mature oak, jeopardizing the roots and hence the tree.
Niveen Eiguindi
1550 Lemon Ave resident
