Council Member John Grass is proposing that the Council consider adding four new committees:
a) Legislative Committee —There is very little presence in Sacramento. Brawley needs a better presence to advocate for its needs.
b) Health Care — With recent efforts to merge, the city needs to be engaged in developing healthcare and finance.
c) Education —We have a good relationship with the school districts, and we work together to facilitate concerns.
d) Budget Committee — To discuss a committee and provide input to be on top of issues.
