CAUTION – EXTERNAL SENDER
I support the Downtown Brentwood Coalition's Executive Director position.

Brentwood downtown is becoming a good shopping and dining destination but it has a long way to go still.

I can't imagine it improving as fast as it has without the DBC Executive Director.

Mutt appreciated,
Bruna Weber | Owner & Marketing Director

Good evening,
I am reaching out in support of the DBC Executive Director position. I believe that Amy Tilley has been a huge asset to the coalition and getting us (Dutch Bros) more connected with the city events! Amy has been our point of contact in sponsoring last year's 4th of July celebration as well as last year and this year's Bags and Brews event. Both of these events (and many other events that we look forward to sponsoring) have brought people out to gather which, in turn, has generated revenue for our business! My husband Brian and I live here in Brentwood and feel strongly that Amy is doing a fantastic job coordinating events that are making Brentwood a great place to live and play! We are excited about all of the events that DBC is bringing to town and can't wait to create memories with our family attending these DBC events!
Sincerely,
Courtney Shaffer

Dear City Council, City Staff, and Citizens of Brentwood, I hope this email finds you all well. My name is Jerry Marquez and I’m the Relationship Manager for your downtown BAC Community Bank. I am writing to express my strong support for the continuation of Amy Tilley's role as Executive Director of the Downtown Brentwood Coalition. As a member of the community and an employee in the downtown area, I believe Amy's leadership is vital to the continued success and growth of Downtown Brentwood, as well as to the prosperity of its small businesses.

Under Amy's leadership, the Downtown Brentwood Coalition has put on so many great events for the community. I would say they were more like accomplishments, Bags and Brews, Oktoberfest, Bubbles and Broomsticks, and the Downtown Santa Crawl just to name a few.

These accomplishments have not only elevated the profile of Downtown Brentwood but have also contributed to its reputation as a vibrant and desirable destination for residents and visitors alike.

Furthermore, Amy's collaborative approach to leadership has facilitated strong partnerships between the coalition, local government, businesses, and community organizations, leading to coordinated efforts that maximize resources and drive collective impact. Tracy Nelson, Realtor
Dear City Council,
I am writing to express my strong support for retaining the Executive Director role at the Downtown Brentwood Coalition in Brentwood. As a longstanding resident of Brentwood since 2007, and an active member of the community, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that this position has had on our downtown corridor and the local small businesses.

Under the leadership of Amy Tilley, the current Executive Director, the Downtown Brentwood Coalition has thrived, playing a pivotal role in promoting and enhancing our downtown area. Amy has gone above and beyond to provide invaluable support to small business owners, assisting them with planning events, social media promotion, and overall business success. The efforts of the Executive Director have not only bolstered our downtown economy but have also contributed to the vibrancy and growth of Brentwood as a whole.

Thousands of residents and visitors have been drawn to our downtown area, thanks to the engaging events and promotions organized by the Coalition.

As a Realtor deeply invested in the prosperity of Brentwood, I regularly interact with small business owners in the downtown corridor.

The consensus among them is clear: the Executive Director position is essential for their continued success.

Amy Tilley's dedication and tireless work have made a tangible difference in the lives of these entrepreneurs, providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive in a competitive market.

In my own endeavors to promote Brentwood and showcase the community, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact of the Executive Director's efforts. Through my social media channel on Instagram, The Best of Living In East County, where I meet these small business owners and share their stories about what Brentwood means to them, it is evident that this position is not only necessary but crucial for maintaining the cultural fabric and economic vitality of our city.

As we look towards the future, it is imperative that we continue to invest in this role and ensure its sustainability as a paid position. Compensation is essential to attract and retain qualified individuals who can dedicate their time and expertise to serving our community effectively. Without adequate compensation, we risk losing talented individuals like Amy Tilley, whose exceptional leadership has been instrumental in the success of the Downtown Brentwood Coalition.

The potential for further growth and development in our downtown area is vast, and we cannot afford to regress by eliminating or downsizing such a vital position.

I urge you to consider the invaluable contributions of the Executive Director to our community and to prioritize the retention and support of this position.

Together, we can continue to build upon the progress we have achieved and create an even brighter future for Brentwood.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Tracy Nelson
